It has been found that among the wave patterns of different singing bowls, there is a measurable wave pattern which is equivalent to the alpha waves produced by the brain. The singing bowls instill a sense of deep relaxation and inner space opening up, as energy blocks are being dissolved by the harmonics and pure tones of the bowls. Their mesmerizing sounds effectively STOP the mind’s internal dialogue and in so doing, they induce a dynamic centering meditation. Silence has been considered by many mystics throughout the ages as being the loudest instruction and the purest teaching, because it is an uncontaminated language unobstructed by words. Through the weaving together of sound and silence, we move deep into the hidden harmony within, beyond words, beyond mind, beyond personality, into the timeless realm of pure being.

Music reaches farther than any other impression from the external world can reach. And the beauty of music is that it is both the source of creation and the means of absorbing it. In other words, by music was the world created, and by music it is withdrawn again into the source which has created it."
